I believe a painting should not explain something, but make you feel something.
I paint to capture what usually slips away: an emotion, a gesture, lightness, silence.
Since I was a girl, I have found in painting a space entirely my own: a suspended time, far from the noise, where thoughts slow down and emotions take shape.
I was born in Germany to an Italian family and, after my studies, I moved to Milan. The years I spent in the fashion world taught me to look closely at the beauty of forms, the balance of colours and the strength of details. A way of seeing that today lives on, in a different way, in every one of my paintings.
In 2024, with the birth of my son, something changed profoundly. It was a moment of transformation, the point from which LR ART STUDIO was born: not just a creative project, but the desire to give space to a part of me that had long been waiting to emerge.
Today I live in Salento, a land that always felt like home even before I lived there. Here I have found a more authentic rhythm, made of light, wind and sea. Elements that naturally find their way into my work, even when they are not depicted.
I do not paint specific people or places. I paint what stays inside: a movement, a memory, a feeling that is hard to put into words. They are open images, deliberately left free, so that whoever looks at them can recognise something of themselves.
